(famous) Friends & Food: Two Cool Things We Love

Last week we had the exciting honour of collaborating with a celebrity Chef of the Food Network, Damaris Phillips, and her initiative Bluegrass Supper Club! This was so exciting and seriously the best way to end the summer. 

This whole collab kicked off by Dana (our founder) wanting to introduce Damaris into the world of Cool To Connect, and ended up being a beautifully partnered way of giving back to the Louisville Kentucky creation; Bluegrass Supper Club.

A little bit about this cool venture:

Bluegrass Supper Club was created by two Chefs. Chef Coby Ming and Damaris Phillips in 2019 as a way to curate food centric experiences that delight, unite, and celebrate their community, regional history, and their desire to share and connect. Each month, BSS creates a fun and interactive experience for families to enjoy a picnic basket of yummy (professionally made) delights, and creates space for growing connections. 

We loved this so much we offered to sponsor the August baskets by sending a Cool To Connect deck of cards to be placed into each basket going out by Bluegrass Supper Club. This was exciting for us because we love moments of connection (duh) but we also love creating experiences for people to fully engage and create memorable special times. #whatablessing
